Slinky is a concept for an organic waste container. Through its shape, color, and playful interaction it proposes a typology of trashcan that is no longer hidden under the sink.
Slinky's functionality is derived from the iconic slinky toy. The transfer onto the trashcan allows for flexible height adjustment for comfortable waste disposal.
The project was developed together with Julian De Freitas, Oscar Owesen and Caterina Regni. We had a lot of fun designing all the little details that constitute the playful character of Slinky.
